5.28.10 H.R. 4213 "Tax Extenders" bill
National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) supports for the following provisions included in the “tax extenders” bill, H.R. 4213:
-$1.1 billion to capitalize the Housing Trust Fund and $65 million for project-based rental assistance to accompany Trust Fund units
-Extension of the 9 percent LIHTC exchange program to 2010
-Extension of the New Markets Tax Credit to 2010
-2 year extension of the Gulf Opportunity Zone LIHTC
Senate is expected to vote upon returning from recess June 7.
