7. “DREAM” Vermont Youth Mentoring Program
Founded in 1999 by students attending Dartmouth College, DREAM (“Directing through Recreation, Education, Adventure and Mentoring”) is a non-profit mentoring program that pairs college students and children living in subsidized housing developments in Vermont. Panelists will describe this community collaboration and its successes with the residents of the Rutland Housing Authority.
